TRARALGON HIGH SCHOOL SONG   (CIRCA 1952)
Words be H.E.L. Jones   Music by E.M. Taylor

We love this land where sunlight gleams, upon a thousand rippling streams,
That flow from ranges blue, and bold,
Through valleys filled with wattle gold, or giant gum and spreading fern,
And beauty reigns where'ere we turn,

But more than valley, stream or peak,
We love our school beside the creek,

We'll shout of it, and sing of it, till Gippsland's hills shall ring of it,
Always we'll serve, all else above, Traralgon High, the school we love.

Like knights of old, come weal or woe, we gaily challenge every foe,
We strive to win with might and mane,
Defeated rise to fight again, and zealous for the school's good name,
We fondly hail her growing fame,

But still our proudest boast shall be,
         We'll always serve her faithfully,

We'll shout of it, and sing of it, till Gippsland's hills shall ring of it,
Always we'll serve, all else above, Traralgon High, the school we love
